Brooke – Owner/Office Manager

Brooke has worked at Dance Kaleidoscope for 23 years. She takes care of the phone calls, registration, tuition and whatever else is needed. Brooke believes the studio offers a unique experience for dancers, “When your child is at the studio, they have access too professional, caring instructors, a safe nurturing environment and the freedom to discover their own passion for the art.” She has three daughters, her two oldest grew up dancing at Dance K and now they share their passion for dance through teaching. Brooke loves the artistry of dance and believes that everyone should be given the opportunity to dance. She embraces the dancers at Dance K for their individuality and loves to watch them grow through the years. She is honored to continue Debbie’s philosophy and is thankful for the mentorship that Debbie gives her daily. She recently has started teaching our preschool dancers and enjoys the energy these little dancers bring to each class. Brooke has created her curriculum through the teaching and guidance of Ms. Debbie. She also incorporates the foundations of the Discover Dance preschool program. Brooke knows Dance K is a very special and magical place where your child can grow up as a dancer and a person.

Debbie - Owner/Artistic Director

Debbie Stark is the owner and artistic director of Dance Kaleidoscope. She has worked in the dance and theater community for over 35 years and has taught dance to literally thousands of young people during her career. Debbie is the recipient of numerous nominations and awards for her critically acclaimed choreography including Denver Drama Critic Awards, Ovation Awards and last year, she received the Henry Award and the Denver Post Ovation Award for her choreography on "Urinetown" and "Side Show" both at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Debbie would very much enjoy the opportunity to share with you her unique philosophy on dance that has made Dance Kaleidoscope so successful over the years.

Ellen - Instructor

Ellen is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with her BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Dance Performance. Ellen is an instructor for The Little Gym in addition to teaching for multiple studios throughout the area. She is also the director of the Intermediate Program for Burklyn Ballet Theatre in Vermont, and a former dancer with Kim Robards Dance. 

Jerzie - Instructor

Jerzie grew up dancing at Dance Kaleidoscope under the direction of her grandma Ms. Debbie. She attended Denver School of the Arts as a Dance Major from Middle School through High School. As a teenager she danced with Davis Contemporary’s youth company - Next Generation. She then went onto Jacksonville University when she studied dance. She currently is working towards her elementary education certificate at the University of Colorado Denver. Jerzie teaches our dancers from preschool to high school. She likes to teach all dance forms; however, she specializes in Modern technique. She loved growing up at the studio and is passionate about passing her grandma’s teaching styles and choreography onto the next generation.

Maddi - Instructor

Maddi grew up dancing at Dance Kaleidoscope. After her time at Dance K, she moved to a studio competition team for a couple years and then was a part of her high school’s varsity poms team for all four years where she competed at state, regional and national competitions. After high school, she attended DePaul University in Chicago where she was on the university dance team for two years. Through this experience she danced at all basketball games, traveled with the basketball team and competed at nationals. For her last two years of college, she danced in the DePaul Dance Company, a student-led organization dedicated to dance technique, artistry, student choreography and performance. In her last couple years living in Chicago, she danced on a hip hop crew called HHC Primo where she attended master classes from some hip hop legends (like Ian Eastwood and Keoni and Mari Madrid) and performed in showcases and competitions with other Chicago hip hop crews. Maddi is so excited to be back at Dance K!

Ronni - Instructor

Ronni has been dancing since the age of three and teaching for over 30 years and is so excited to be back at Dance Kaleidoscope. She has performed at the Boulder’s Dinner Theater, Country Dinner Playhouse, Arvada Center, Town Hall Arts Center, Casa Manana, and the Lone Tree Arts Center to name a few and her choreography has been seen on many of these stages as well. She has two sons, Kale and Cole, who constantly “keep her on her toes!”

Tracey - Instructor

Tracey has been a performer, teacher, and choreographer for the past 15 years. Originally from New Orleans, Tracey received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University at Buffalo where she was a member of the prestigious Zodiaque dance company. Tracey has also taught, judged, and choreographed locally and nationally.  She also can be seen performing around the metro area at various theaters.
